Engineering support for AN-SLQ-25E systems

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) awarded a definitive, C-type contract with Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) and Cost Reimbursement provisions for systems engineering support for all AN-SLQ-25E systems including FMS support to Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (CAGE Code: 6XWA8). Award was made to SAIC on an Exception to Fair Opportunity (EtFO) basis in accordance with FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C); the order must be issued on a sole-source basis in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract, provided that all awardees were given a fair opportunity to be considered for the original order.
