Notice of Intent to Sole Source Marine Diesel Engine Repair Services

The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison (Stewart & Stevenson Power Products LLC) to provide engine parts, and engine rebuild services for the P/B Hocking Main Engines, marine transmissions, and Ship Service Generators. The propulsion engines are Detroit Diesel 12V-71s, the marine transmissions are MG-312 and the ship service generators are Detroit Diesel 2-53s (20kVA) and both will need to be rebuilt with new Detroit Diesel or Detroit Diesel Certified remanufactured parts per the specification. Atlantic Detroit Diesel Allison is the only authorized Marine Detroit Diesel Representative in the Tri-State Area. As the regional Detroit Diesel representative, they have the capability to provid
