TAMPA HARBOR, DREDGE MATERIAL MANAGEMENT AREA 3-D SITE IMPROVEMENTS AND MAINTENANCE, HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FLORIDA

The project consists of the construction of two new weir structures in the DMMA 3-D basin. The weir construction also includes associated concrete foundation, discharge pipes, filter drain and CLSM, helical anchors, mitered end sections, riprap outfall area, floating platform, gangway, and flap gate. Associated earthwork includes deconstruction of the existing dike in the vicinity of the new weirs; reconstruction of the dike; and construction of new earthwork features including ramps. The project also entails repair and stabilization of eroded sections of the existing exterior dike slope, including placement of fill, riprap, and sod.
