The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Valsartan. Procurement details follow. Valsartan 40MG tablets in 30 count bottles and 80MG, 160MG, and 320MG in 90 count bottles. This will be an unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one year base and four one year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service and Bureau of Prisons customers through the DLA and VA prime vendor programs. The annual usage estimates will be provided in the Schedule of Supplies section of the solicitation. This is a commercial item and will be solicited using FAR part 12. All sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. A copy of the solicitation will be posted to the DLA Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil and beta.SAM.gov.
