NASA JSC WSTF intends to issue a sole source contract to procure a 192-channel signal conditioning system for WSTFs Test Stand 406 from Precision Filters, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Precision Filters, Inc. is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling this requirement, as its proprietary hardware is required to maintain continuity, reduce maintenance costs, minimize critical spares, leverage existing training procedures and maintain personnel certifications. Furthermore, Precision Filters proprietary go-no go system calibration, FLAT, PULSE, and Balanced Constant Current (BCC) technology are required to meet NASA/WSTFs DAC signal conditioning performance requirements The Government intends to acquire a commercial product or service using FAR Part 12.
