NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT / SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION / RFQ: SPE4A8-27-Q-0002 PURCHASE REQUEST (PR): 26-26-1001 NAICS CODE: 333517 (Machine Tool Manufacturing) FSC: 3416 (Lathes / Turning Centers) 1. STATUTORY & REGULATORY AUTHORITY: Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support (DLAWS), Industrial Plant Equipment Services Division (VICA), intends to award a Sole-Source, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 (Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii) (substantial duplication of cost not expected to be recovered through competition), in conjunction with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services). 2. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION & TECHNICAL QUALITY STANDARDS: Item Description: One (1) DN PUMA Vertical Turning Center (VTC) 1620M Machine Scope: Turnkey delivery, rigging, installation, on-site calibration, and operational testing in strict accordance with Purchase Description VIBB 26-26-1001, dated 05 May 2026. Delivery Period: 355 calendar days After Receipt of Order (ARO), followed by thirty (30) calendar days for Government final acceptance testing. Condition: All items delivered shall be in New (unused) condition; Government surplus, refurbished, and prototype items are strictly prohibited. Non-National Stock Number (Non-NSN) item. Alternate offers will not be considered. Delivery Location: Trident Refit Facility (TRF) Bangor, Naval Base Kitsap, Silverdale, WA (FOB Destination). 3.
