Description: The U.S. Army Office of the Project Manager for Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is currently seeking sources for the production and delivery of 5.56mm, Frangible, MK311 MOD 3 (AA40) cartridge. The AA40 is used in the M4A1 Carbine. The AA40 is used in training and to reduce collateral damage in combat. Planned Acquisition: The U.S. Government is contemplating award of a single, Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract to fulfill Fiscal Year (FY) 27 32 requirements. The total estimated quantity to be purchased is approximately 418M (up to 83.6M per ordering period) of AA40 cartridges. Initial delivery is required 210 calendar days after award if First Article Test (FAT) is required, and 90 calendar days after award if FAT is not required. Specifications
