Description
In accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), the Bureau of Reclamation has issued a Limited-Sources Justification (LSJ) for the procurement of Sutron Satlink 3 Loggers from OTT HydroMet Corp., GSA Schedule Number GS07F002DA, Order Number 140R8125F0159. In accordance with FAR 8.001 and 8.402, federal agencies are mandated to utilize GSA schedules for procurements. OTT HydroMet is the only authorized vendor identified on GSA that sells this specific item. A Request for Quote (RFQ) was posted through GSA E-Buy, and only OTT HydroMet submitted a quote/response. This regulatory requirement, combined with the necessity to maintain operational compatibility and efficiency, justifies the sole source procurement.
