Description

Due to the circumstances outlined herein, the activity requests authority to acquire the production of Frequency Converters applicable to the AN/ALR-56M Advanced Radar Warning Receiver (ARWR), utilizing other than full and open competition as prescribed by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source is capable of meeting the Governments requirements, and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs. The referenced vendor possesses the unique capabilities, experience, and technical expertise necessary to produce Frequency Converters that meet the stringent performance specifications required for the AN/ALR-56M system. Their specialized knowledge and proven track record make them the only viable source for this effort. This acquisition will result in a 5-Year Requirements-type Firm F
