Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded two (2) contracts to Diamond Antenna and Microwave Corporation, Littleton, MA and Frontgrade Technologies, Exeter, NH, for repair and refurbishment of Rotary Couplers used in the TDWR, ASDE-3, ASR-9, MODE-S BOS, NAS ASR-11, ARSR-1, ARSR-2 and MODE-S FPS radar systems. Rotary couplers are used in all FAA Air Traffic Control (ATC) radar systems as well as radar systems within other government agencies and internationally. These systems are critical to Air Traffic Control in maintaining safety in the National Airspace System (NAS).
