The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to issue a solicitation for a national requirements contract for Azithromycin. Procurement details follow. Azithromycin 500 MG Tablets in 3, 30, and 50 count bottles; Azithromycin 250 MG Tablets in 6, 30, 50, and 100 count bottles; and Azithromycin 600 MG Tablets in 30 count bottles. This will be an unrestricted and fully competitive acquisition. The contract will be a firm-fixed price, requirements type contract with a one-year base and four one-year options. A contract resulting from this solicitation will establish a national supply source, in accordance with FAR 52.216-21 (Requirements), to provide the items listed in the schedule for purchase by Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, Indian Health Service, and Bureau of Prisons
