Description

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a single source contract to GAW Associates, Inc. (GAW), for Bare Rack Configuration. Racks also known as cabinets will be used for supporting and/or enclosing small units of electronic equipment. The items are COTS with specification to commercially available standards. The requirements in this section apply to all material ordered by the Government to support rack configuration. This notification is being administered in accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Guidance T3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a single source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA.
