Description
This is a BPA Call that was competed under the LMIR BPA. The purpose of this task order is to secure services for herbicide release of conifer crop trees within an area burned by the 2021 Dixie and Sugar Fires. The work units were mechanically prepared in 2023. The units were planted by hand in the spring of 2024 at approximately 100 trees per acre. They were also released with glyphosate in 2024. This requirement is for a second release for planted and natural conifers to promote regeneration. The conifers to be released include natural regeneration conifer seedlings. The release treatment will include a five-foot radial foliar herbicide application.
