Description
Contract involves three elements of work: 1) Base Bid Remove and replacement the existing low-slope membrane roof systems on indicated Roof Areas A through D in their entirety, and design and install replacement roof system, including but not limited to, roof covering, insulation, flashings and trim, penetrations, nailers and blocking, sheet metal work, accessories and components necessary for a watertight roof system assembly. 2) Bid option 01 was also awarded, which requires the installation of a complete new lightning protection system for the building. 3) Bid Option 002 was awarded, which requires the cleaning, preparation, and installation of new structural steel protective coating system to entire exposed steel superstructure extending above the roof plane.
