Description

This action was awarded as an 8(a) Sole Source Set-Aside under the authority of section 8(a) of the Small Business Act. The work will consist of removing the existing insulation on the ceiling (approximately 2,450 sq ft) and exterior walls (approximately 900 sq ft) of the main maintenance bay and welding bay, and the exterior walls only in the west bay of the Maintenance Building (approximately 1,150 sq ft) and replacing it with vinyl-faced fiberglass blanket insulation rated at least R-13. Prior to removal of the existing ceiling insulation in the main maintenance bay the Contractor will completely remove the existing lighting fixtures, the suspended ceiling and the abandoned ductwork above it, being careful to not damage existing cabling, fire and security alarm devices and wiring in the
