The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a single source contract to Data Comm for Business, Inc. (DCB), for Dedicated Network Telecommunications System (DNTS) will procure Commercial-Off-The Shelf (COTS) fiber optics multiplexer equipment. FAA Airport Cable Loop (ACL) Systems - Sustained Support (ACLSSS) Program suport to monitoring, managing, and/or replacing FAAs on-airport cable systems, with a strategic mission to provide increased capacity and availability. On-airport ACL systems are FAA-owned and managed signal/control cable lines and equipment that transport information between airport traffic control towers (ATCT) and other FAA on-airport facilities.
