Description

The Biomedical Department at the VA New Mexico Healthcare System had an emergency request for Manoscan Catheters for scheduled Endoscopy appointments. The recntly the Monoscan catheters on hand have broken and were not repairable, replacements needed to be shipped overnight immediately. Without resupply, there would be a severe lapse in Endoscopy at the Biomed Department, patient safety and health would be critically impacted. These catheters are only compatibile with the Manoscan system on hand. This proceeded as a delivery order against SAC Contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-2, Unusual & Compelling Urgency.
