Flight Deck Replacement

This contract is for an eight-year C-type contract, primarily CPFF/FFP contract to resolve obsolescence in the C-17 Flight Deck through an integrated, functional, and modernized open architecture solution approach that also provides updates to the simulators/labs affected. EMD is estimated at five (5) years followed by a 12-month kitproof and ICS support period. There is one (1) 12-month ICS options that will follow the kitproof period. Capabilities will add open systems architecture to the 4 Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) drivers, enabling future modular plug and play, and advancing C-17 flight deck components to current industry standards.
