FY25 VEMCO TELEMETRY EQUIPMENT for USACE Kansas City District MRSAMP

Multiple telemetry studies are identified in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri River Science and Management Plan (MRSAMP) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Biological Opinion for pallid sturgeon in the Missouri River. These are high priority studies that build on existing studies and equipment. The studies are critical in evaluating the effects of high-impact management actions on pallid sturgeon movement, reproduction and survival. It is required that all participating State and Federal agencies acquire and use the identical equipment specified in this purchase request to achieve scientifically defensible population metrics and measurable responses to the critical management actions as identified in the Missouri River Science and Adaptive Management Plan.
