Sysmex is able to provide 100 uL or less of sample which other competitors are unable to provide. The advantage to the Government is large blood volumes (especially from infants, pediatric patients, or those with limited venous access) that can be difficult, and the Weed facility is very small with limited space. A smaller sample volume requirement allows for complete hematological analysis without compromising the patient. Also, the reduced sample volume can streamline the workflow in laboratories, minimizing handling and reducing the risk of errors associated with sample preparation and transfer.
