The units will be a part of rapid deployment systems that quickly respond to disasters, emergencies, or special events. These units will provide survivors with another way to interface with FEMA if they prefer a self-service option to apply for assistance, upload any documents, check on their case status, and potentially see what services other Federal and SLTT agencies can provide to them.
