National Road Network Project

The objective of the contract is to define a product specification and data structure to represent the National Road Network (NRN). The deliverables from this project will be documentation that defines a spatial framework to geolocate features and attributes to support safety analysis, planning applications, freight analysis, conditions, emergency response, asset management and project locations related to all public roads in the United States. Using the defined specification, a conceptual model will be created with data from the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) and other secondary sources.
