Description
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego intends to issue a sole source purchase order in accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 to Freeman Marine Equipment Inc., 28336 Hunter Creek Road, Gold Beach, OR 97444. The proposed contract action is for the replacement of (1)ea Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) HATCH ASSEMBLY, 2426 VM Without Pressure Relief Valve, Part Number B100-9999. The purchase of the Hatch Assembly is only possible through Freeman Marine Equipment, Inc as the equipment is proprietary and only available through this manufacturer. This requirement is per NAVSEA Drawing 5749292. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
