Intent to Award Sole Source Agency and Contracting Activity The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Western Acquisitions Division (WAD) intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), with Handix Scientific, Inc. located in Ft. Collins, CO, for ten (10) portable optical particle spectrometers (POPS), for the Office of Atmospheric Research (OAR), Chemical Sciences Laboratory located in Boulder, CO. Description of Supplies Required The OAR CSL requires ten (10) small optical particle counters (OPCs) for use in a field research project. The required OPCs are specifically the POPS.
