Description
Project work includes construction of a dune and beach berm in twosegments within the approximately 4 miles of the Martin County ShoreProtection Project shoreline between R-01 and R-25.Beach compatible sandwill be dredged from borrow area C1-B, located approximately 6.3 nauticalmiles offshore in Federal waters. Due to the extensive hardbottom areaslocated offshore of the fill area, offshore pipeline access is limited tospecified corridors. Staging area and beach access to the beach placementarea is located within Martin County. Work also includes but is notlimited to endangered species observers (hopper dredges only), screening,sea turtle trawling (hopper dredges only), turbidity monitoring, beachtilling, beach fill quality control, screening, MEC construction support,and vibration control
