Tri-corner hats for the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment Old Guard IAW the purchase description (PD). Material: The hat shall be constructed from Black 3XXX Beaver felt or an equivalent high-quality felt material. The material must be colorfast to prevent fading or color transfer. It must possess sufficient stiffness to allow shaping with steam heat and retain its shape effectively once cooled. ? Crown: Height: The crown shall measure 4 inches in height. ? Band: The base of the crown shall be encircled by a 1-inch wide black grosgrain ribbon, securely attached and evenly aligned. ? Brim: Width: The brim shall be 5 inches wide. ?
