The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) enterned into a contract with Serco, Inc. of Herndon, VA supporting the development of Anti-submarine Warfare capability for Undersea Systems across submarine systems (primarily the AN/BQQ-10), the surface ship sonar system (AN/SQQ-89), and the Undersea Warfare Decision Support System (AN/UYQ-100). . The resulting contract is awarded via full and open competition (See FAR 35.016). Serco submitted White Papers in response to Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Advanced Undersea Technologies N00024-17-IWS5A-01, posted on 16 March 2023. Serco was notified that their submitted White Papers would be pursued to Phase II in the form of a Request for Proposal on 27 March 2025.
