USDAs Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has a requirement to upgrade a lift station at the National Center for Applied Plant Protection facility in Laurel, MD. Due to the multiple maintenance issues, antiquated equipment, and operational criticality for the facility, the current lift station pump system and downstream sump pump systems are obsolete and need replacing. The current system uses six Zoeller Model G294-E pumps (two pumps in three locations) installed in lead/lag configurations for redundancy.
