Description
The usual and compelling requirement to provide labor only for the repair of the chiller motor located at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston (FSH), TX located in Building 3260, was awarded to Johnson Controls Inc (JCI) on 18 June 2025, in the amount of $6,228.00. The chiller system components are currently listed on JCIs warranty under a prior contract agreement, however labor costs are an uncovered expense. To both preserve the existing warranty and preclude additional material expenses while ensuring chiller operates as designed, repairs and labor must be executed by JCI licensed technicians. Attached is the Single Source Justification pertaining to this requirement.
