Description

Authority for this sole source requirement is conducted through FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. First-In branded items are the only components capable of completely interfacing with the First-In Fire Station Alerting System in use at all ten of Eglin Air Force Base's (AFB) fire stations. The use of any other manufacturer's components, should they exist, would leave the Fire Department with an incapable system and void all active warranties for the First-In Fire Station Alerting System.
