Presolicitation Notice The White City VA Medical Center (VAMC) is seeking qualified contractors for services in Building 209. The scope of work includes the modification or replacement of three doorways to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Currently, the doorways feature solid wood doors in steel frames with hardware for closing and latching. The project requires the doors to be converted into automatic doors, operable by ADA-compliant buttons. The goal is to retrofit the existing doors and/or door locations with low-energy, power-operated swinging doors that can be activated by pressing a button from both sides of the doorway.
