Description
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Park Service, Interior Regions 3/4/5, Ohio Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Bridge 447 Timber Replacement project for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Brecksville, OH. Work will consist of providing all labor, materials, tools and other equipment necessary to install all new Bridge Timbers on Bridge 447. Approximate length of bridge is 207 feet long. All timbers will be matched to the correct tie and location on the Bridge. Install 14 approach ties on each end of bridge. Standard 7x9x8-6 track ties. Install approximately 420 feet of new 132lb rail on the bridge section reusing existing tie plates. Remove and reinstall bridge inner guard rail, timber spacing bars, walkway grating, and handrail.
