Research contractors by business name, capabilities, UEI, CAGE code, state, or NAICS. Review public company facts and recorded SAM registration dates, then open the same contractor on our website.

Saving a search keeps its filters. Email alerts stay under your control and are never switched on by the connection.

The connection is available for testing through custom setup. Directory listings are not published yet. Use the same address in either platform, then sign in or create your free account when prompted.

Set up ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT’s Apps settings and choose the option to create a custom connection, if your account has access.
Name it Gov Contract Finder and enter the server address above. Choose OAuth account connection.
Sign in to Gov Contract Finder, choose your workspace, and review the requested access.
Start a chat, select Gov Contract Finder, and ask your first search question.

What can I search?

Federal SAM.gov notices available in Gov Contract Finder. Ask for solicitations and a response date when you want opportunities accepting bids. You can also search public contractor records by business name, capability, UEI, CAGE, state, or NAICS. This version does not search state or local contracts or a directory of individual contacts.

Do I need a paid account?

A free Gov Contract Finder account can connect and use the research tools. Your existing workspace’s save allowances apply. ChatGPT and Claude have their own plan and custom connection requirements.

What can the connection access?

It can search and read federal notices, read saved research in the workspace you connect, and save opportunities or searches you choose. It cannot send emails, enable alerts, change your subscription, or submit a bid.

Where do I manage saved research and connections?

Use the same account and workspace on our website. Opensaved opportunities,saved searches, orconnected apps. You can also disconnect in your chat platform’s settings.

What if something does not work?

If the chat asks you to reconnect, sign in again and return to your original request. If you reach a save limit, your existing saved research remains available. For help,contact support with the platform and time of the problem. Keep passwords and authorization codes out of your message.
