Description
In accordance with FAR 5.705(b), this synopsis is issued to announce the Government's award of a one (1) year, hybrid (Firm Fixed-Price and Time and Materials) bridge contract on a non-competitive basis to Rapid Deployment, Inc. (RDI) for emergency response support services while the competitive, follow-on contract is being procured. The sole source bridge contract was awarded under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. A one year bridge contract is necessary to ensure the continuity of critical emergency response support services while a new contract is being procured. A one year period of performance will allow ASPR the ability to effectively and efficiently manage the 2025 hurricane season, which occurs from June 1, 2025 to November 30, 2025, and refine requireme
