Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12363N26R4016 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the End of the World G-Z Long-Term IRSC (EOTW G-Z LTIRSC). The End of the World Project area is approximately 50,000 acres on the Salmon River Ranger District of the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest. The End of the World EIS authorizes commercial treatment on over 17,000 acres primarily through intermediate harvest. The purpose of the EOTW G-Z LTIRSC is to thin overstocked stands to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildfire as well as improve stand health.
