Description

The Kansas City District, United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), has a need for the construction of four closure structures (two stoplog and two sandbag) located on both sides of two Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR)- owned bridges crossing the Armourdale (ARM; West side of the Kansas River) and Central Industrial District (CID; East side of the Kansas River) Levee Units. The south bridge (UPRR #3) contains two sets of railroad tracks: Mainline Track No. 1 and Mainline Track No. 2. The north bridge (MOPAC) contains two sets of railroad tracks: Track No. 3 and Track No. 202.
