Description
The Government requires a commercial solution for an isolated instrumentation grounding system. This is a new requirement, as this requirement has not been previously met by the Government and is not considered a follow-on effort to an existing contract. To meet this requirement the Government awarded a single, requirements-type Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) with a ceiling not-to-exceed $620k. Use of a multiple award approach is not appropriate given that the projected orders are so integrally related that only a single contractor can reasonably meet them. All orders issued under the IDC will be made within 12-months after contract award; therefore, the IDC has an available ordering period of 12-months. Funding will be provided at the order level, and the delivery period and FFP order
