Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement for the SM-6 production contract. This effort will support the initial production and preparation for Full Rate Production (FRP) of the SM-6 Block IAU missile, which is a critical obsolescence upgrade to the SM-6 Block IA All-Up-Round (AUR). This program will develop and validate the design and manufacturing process to meet all requirements of the SM-6 Block IAU Missile Performance Specification (MPS). This requirement will be solicited from Raytheon, 1151 East Hermans Road Tucson, AZ 85756. This requirement will be procured, without full and open competition, from the only qualified source capable of developing and producing the SM-6 missile system along with its associated production requirements.
