Contract was awarded fixed price, sole source to Getinge USA Sales, LLC. Market research determined the recommended source and the company used in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization, is the only business capable of providing sterilizer maintenance and repair on the Getinge sterilizers.
