Description

The requirement is for the training of both clinical, and non-clinical personnel in Tactical Medicine (TACMED) and will also be referred herein as TACMED. As part of this requirement, training program must be consistent with established standards set by the American College of Surgeons, Committee on Trauma on Stop the Bleed (STB) and the Department of Defenses Stop the Bleed Coalition (STBC) guidelines, with the addition of other tactical medical intervention techniques combined into one training program. Training will be required for up to 1,600 medical center staff.
