Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) modification to contract N0001919C0079 to Raytheon, Tucson, Arizona, procuring Ultra 1.1+ Processors and Re-Hosted for Obsolescence (RO) Hardware in the Loop (HIL). This acquisition was pursued on a sole-source basis under statutory authority of Title 10, U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." The determination by the Government not to compete this effort was solely within the discretion of the Government.
