Presolicitation Notice Page 4 of 4 Solicitation 36C25226B0009 Project: 578-22-026 Replace 2nd Floor Roofs, Building 200 Location: Edward Hines Jr. VAMC 5000 5th Ave. Hines, IL 60141 The Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital has identified a need to replace the 2nd Floor Roofs, Building 200. Goals The goals of this project are to: 1. Replace, repair, and maintain selected areas of the existing protected membrane roofing system including replacing pavers and replacing or maintaining flashings and drains. 2. Removing unused equipment and supports. 3. Install fall protection handrail system where required. 4. Install stairs between roof levels, and crossover steps for pipe and obstacle locations. 5. Remove the current single-ply roof area and existing gypsum plank deck and replace with a new steel deck
