Definition
An amendment is an official modification to a solicitation issued by the contracting officer. Amendments may extend deadlines, clarify requirements, answer questions, or make substantive changes. You must acknowledge all amendments in your proposal. Missing an acknowledgment can make your proposal non-responsive.
