A Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code is a 5-character identifier assigned by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to businesses that work with the federal government. It's used to identify contractors, their facilities, and their establishments. CAGE codes are automatically requested during SAM.gov registration and typically take 3-5 business days to be assigned.
