5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition for Use in Close Combat Mission Capability Kit

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of the office of the Office of the Project Manager, Maneuver Ammunition Systems (PM MAS), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for 5.56mm M1042 Loose and M1071 Linked Marking Ammunition Cartridges for use in Close Combat Mission Capability Kit (CCMCK). The M1042 is fired in the M4/M4A1, M16A2/A3/A4 Rifles converted with the CCMCK Conversion Bolt, National Stock Number (NSN) 1005-99-132-2616. The M1071 is fired in the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW) converted with the CCMCK Conversion Bolt, NSN 1005-99-848-0609.
