Description
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Center intends to make a sole source contract by the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements) for the DeMayo Adapt2Fit Modular Knee Positioner with Innovative Medical Products, Inc. of 87 Spring Lane, PO Box 8028 Plainville, CT 06062. A determination that only one SDVOSB can meet the requirement is not required. However, in accordance with FAR 6.302(c)(2)(ii), contracts awarded using this authority shall be supported by a written justification and approval described in FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304. In accordance with FAR 6.305(c), the brand name justification under FAR 6.302-1(c) shall be posted with the solicitation. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used,
