AJ11-Intent to Sole Source-Lab Exposure System

In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the James A. Haley VA Medical Center intends to negotiate a sole-source award with **Scientific Respiratory Equipment Inc. (SCIREQ)**, located at 6600 Saint-Urbain, Suite 300, Montreal Quebec, QC H2S 3G8. SCIREQ is the manufacturer to supply and support the inExpose Exposure System. It will be used to aerosolize the dioxin Tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD) and diesel particulate matter (DPM) for administration to mice. This will allow for a more accurate representation of how military personnel are exposed to these hazards when in the field.
