Description

Construction of the Shepard Point Oil Spill Response Center is the result of the court settlement for the Exxon-Valdez oil spill. The project site is located approximately 6-miles north of Cordova proper, in Cordova, Alaska. IRTs involvement began in FY23 and is projected to be a seven-year project. To facilitate the Annual Training of multiple rotational units as the project lead, the AKARNG needs to provide for subsistence and raw food supply. This is required to support the rotational units seven days a week with three meals per day. Requirements: The contractor is responsible only for the following: -Ordering and Receiving: The contractor is responsible only for the procurement and acceptance of various food items.
