Blood Products and Laboratory Reference Testing

The American National Red Cross will provide the listed blood products, transportation of blood products, and patient specimen testing for the specific range of referral testing in accordance with the provided list and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, laws, and ordinances, and in accordance with the specifications outlined for accreditation certification is applicable. Blood products must meet the requirements set forth by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), with proof of FDA registration to be provided upon reasonable request. All non-STAT blood requests shall be delivered within the requested timeframes as needed and on demand STAT requests delivered in approximately two hours of initiation of request, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
