This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 12363N26R4012 is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) for hazardous fuels reduction in post-Hurricane Helene National Forests in Western North Carolina. This work takes place on steep and rugged terrain in the Wildland Urban Interface. This work includes the development of logging plans, construction and closure of landing areas, preparation and removal of damaged timber and small roundwood material via helicopter, road maintenance and hauling of forest products. Upon completion, landing restoration will be needed. T
